Hi,

My name is Nicole and I have the distinct privilege of having my best friend, Lisa Diane, take me under her wing and personally escort me from complete financial ruin to financial security and stability. I am so blessed and humbled that she is willing to do this for me. I know that her time is extremely valuable. I did not want to be the only one to benefit from her teaching and encouragement. So we have decided to take this journey with you watching every step of the way.

Here's my story: Lisa and graduated from High School together. We were the best of friends. We both were very involved in church, music, we had jobs together, and we went on trips together. Her family lived a very humble life, as she was a preacher's kid. I grew up in a more affluent upper middle class home where college was not optional--it was required. I left the state to attend a University to get my degree in Elementary Education.

After I graduated, I went overseas to teach as a missionary. I met and married my husband, and had 4 children. I wanted to stay home with them so I stopped teaching. I helped with my husband's business and took care of my children. As time went on, the business began to fail. In attempts to save the company my husband used as much credit as he could to pay our bills and keep things afloat. He took out 80K dollars worth of credit in my name without my knowledge. As the pressures of life took hold, our marriage also began to fail.

Six months ago I found myself faced with foreclosure notices, massive credit card debt, debt collectors calling around the clock, no husband, 4 children under 10, and absolutely no income. I was emotionally and financially in complete desperation and despair. To make matters worse, my 8 year old daughter, Gracie, developed a life threatening bone infection that needed immediate and extensive surgeries and IV medication for 2 months with no health insurance.

I believe that God sent me a life line. It just so happened that our 20th class reunion was coming up and Lisa and I were being contacted to attend. I saw her contact information on-line, and I wanted see how she was doing. I had no idea what she had done with her life. (I am not a big computer person!) Our email exchanges led to phone conversations, which led to us meeting up. She heard my story and out of the kindness of her heart, wanted to help me.
